How you'll learn Spanish

Three steps, and the first two are things you already know how to do.

1

Pick a book

Bring your own EPUB, PDF or text file, or choose from more than 3,800 classics and short stories in the Store. Any book you'd enjoy reading in English works.

2

Read as you normally would

StoryFluent swaps a few of the most common Spanish words into the text. Hold the page to see what one means, then keep reading. The mix grows as you get comfortable.

3

Make it stick

Words you meet flow into quick review sessions, word games and handwriting practice, so your Spanish vocabulary stays with you long after the last chapter.

Spanish that agrees with the sentence

StoryFluent doesn't just drop in dictionary words. Verbs are conjugated to match who's speaking, and adjectives take the right gender, so when the story says she was tired, you'll see cansada, not cansado. Accented letters and ñ get their own practice on the chalkboard.

Everything else you get

The reading is the core. The rest is built around it.

Tap any word, in any language

Double-tap any word, not only the swapped ones, and its dictionary entry opens on the page. Every meaning, how it sounds, and how the word changes.

Hear it in both languages

The book read aloud in your language, with every swapped word spoken in the one you're learning. The page keeps pace with the audio.

The news, in your new language

Full stories and headlines from around the world, in your own language with the same gentle word swaps. Fresh every morning.

Practice built from your books

Supplement your learning with word games and writing exercises. Seven games built from your own reading, each with ten levels, plus a chalkboard that teaches every script from Hangul to kanji to Arabic.

Reasons to come back tomorrow

A streak worth protecting, levels to climb, and badges that only move when you actually read.

Yours, offline, no subscription required

Your books and your reading stay on your phone, and everything keeps working with no signal once a book is downloaded. An account is optional, and so is paying.
