Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data StoryFluent collects and your choices. Most of what you do in the App is stored on your device, not on our servers.

1. Stored on your device

Your library, imported and purchased books, reading position, word-learning progress, streaks, badges, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not upload the content of books you import, and we do not receive your reading progress.

2. Analytics

The App and this website use Google Analytics to understand general usage (such as which pages or screens are opened). It may collect device and usage information — device model, operating system, language, approximate location from your IP address, and analytics identifiers — and, on the website, cookies or similar technologies.

3. Advertising

The App is supported by ads served through Google AdMob, and this website may show ads through Google AdSense. These services may use an advertising identifier and related data to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. Google processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We do not sell your personal information for money.

4. Your choices

You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (iOS: Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Google → Ads). On iOS, ad tracking also follows the App Tracking Transparency prompt. On the website you can use Google Analytics opt-out tools. StoryFluent Pro removes ads.

5. Children's privacy

StoryFluent is intended for a general audience and is not directed to young children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the App and website use analytics and advertising, younger users should only use them with appropriate child-directed settings enabled.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data and to opt out of certain ad-related processing. To exercise these, contact us.

7. Changes & contact

We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do.
